HSBC Childrun

This past Sunday (June 4), hundreds of parents, kids and supporters participated in the 23rd annual HSBC Childrun and raised over $350,000 for the Oncology Department at BC Children's Hospital.



I was there capturing the event (as I did last year) and giving what I could to the organization. BC Children's Hospital is a place close to my heart so there is no place I would have rather been! The smiles on all their faces make it so worthwhile. This girl was AMAZING! I LOVE how she owned her look!



It was so much fun watching all the kids play, interact and participate in all the games, facepainting and other activities.

Paradise Island, Bahamas Sessions

I'll be in Nassau, Bahamas for several weeks in April. I'm shooting a wedding at the One & Only Ocean Club (where the James Bond movie, Casino Royale was filmed) as well as several other family/kids' sessions and even a couple of engagement sessions! Back in Vancouver

I had a FABULOUS 'vacation' in the Bahamas! Coming back to -2 degree weather from 35 (30F - 80F respectively for all you Americans) has been very difficult. I was out shooting yesterday in Coal Harbour after just arriving by plane 2 hours earlier and I thought I was going to pass out from being so cold! But I got some great shots of former Olympic runners, Doug and Diane Clement for their new book:


A hot bath later that day didn't even thaw me out!

But here I am for another 3 weeks with a TON of family shoots between now and January 30th! Everyone is taking advantage of my January Special.
